The Road to Lakeland Continues!
Dear fans,
THANK YOU so much for the total team effort that went into running such an amazing tournament! Coaches, wrestlers, and fans all commented on how smoothly the tournament ran and that is a credit to the wonderful support system we have here at Hagerty High School. Thanks to Dr. Williams for showing her support on Saturday as well as our Athletic Director Jay Getty for managing the immense amount of paperwork that comes with hosting Districts. Dale DiBernardo & Ken Larison‘s computer wizardry kept the tournament running swiftly and the efforts of Tammy DiBernardo & Ana Larison in coordinating the hospitality room kept all of the coaches, table workers, and officials happy! Finally, to all of our volunteers and contributors, THANK YOU! Many hands make light work.

Zach Larison (Jr., 120 lbs.) finished as a District Runner-up (improving from 3rd in 2013), Scooter Duren (So., 152 lbs.) finished 3rd (did not place last season), and Ethan Kaufmann (So., 170 lbs.) also qualified for his first regional tournament by placing 4th. - Tournament schedule (each session is $7.00, 3 total sessions):
- Friday (02.06.14)
- 10:00 am: Weigh-ins
- 12:00 pm: Preliminaries, Wrestlebacks (First & Second Rounds)
- Saturday (02.07.14)
- 8:00 am: Weigh-ins
- 10:00 am: Semifinals
- 12:30 am: Wrestlebacks (Third & Fourth Rounds)
- 6:00 pm: Consolation/Championship Finals (2 mats)
