Please extend a Husky welcome to new head wrestling coach Scotty Diaz. Coach Diaz will take over as the second coach in program history and is looking forward to building on our tradition of excellence.
He is a Winter Springs High School alumnus (c/o 2003) where he was a 2x conference and district champion, Regional champion (2x finalist), and a 2x state qualifier, placing 4th in 2003. After graduating he wrestled at UCF for a year before going on to wrestle for Thiel College.
His first coaching job was as an
assistant at West Orange in 2012-2013. After that he has been coaching as an assistant at Lake Mary.
Coach Diaz will be handling all social media and updates on the site from here on out. Congratulations again and welcome to Hagerty!
